I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

To determine the investment capital ratio, you need to first determine the *total* inital capital investment, which is $75,000.

Now  you need to determine the percentage that each invested of the total amount.

After that apply the the percentage of each to $18,000 in order to determine their share.

@it_saige: hmm, wouldn't that be their "investment capital ration"? At least in German these would not be the same.
