I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You are giving very little information, but in XSL-FO a long string of text does not break automatically in a table cell with fixed width

If you are using AH Formatter, then you can use axf:word-break="break-all" to allow AH Formatter to break anywhere within a word. See https://www.antennahouse.com/product/ahf64/ahf-ext.html#axf.word-break.

If you are using FOP, it helps adding a zero width space after every '/', it does not show, but it helps breaking the string and stop overlapping

If you need that, code depends on whether you are using XSLT1 or XSLT2

so, have given as much questions as I gave answers, details help us to give a good solution rightaway
