Outlook 2013 Sending emails to Unread Mail Folder

Hi Experts,

I have an end user that has a Unread Mail folder under the Search folder. I noticed that new emails are going into the Unread Mail folder instead of the end user’s Inbox.
How may I fix this issue to stop new emails from going into the Unread Mail folder?  I am using Outlook 2013 client with exchange 2013 environment.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Search folders are NOT REAL PHYSICAL FOLDERS (it only displays the search results, hence the name Search folders). Don't pay too much attention to it!
If a mail doesn't end up in the inbox, it's probably an inbox rule that moves the message around. The search folder will actually show you the real folder it is in.

Awesome, thank you for your response. I went int and disabled all the rules so I wanted to see if I was missing something.
