Remove incomplete exchange install
How do you remove an installation of exchange that is faulty. If i try to uninstall it the uninstaller says that the setup is incomplete. If i re-run the installer it re-installs but the uninstaller still says the same. Is there a way to fully remove exchange manually?
Its better to do a re-install of the box that you were trying to install Exchange on.

this is on an active domain controller and file server we cannot do a reinstall

could I ask on what error the install stopped working? it might be fixable. but I need to know the version of Exchange you are using? is it SBS ?

we are currently getting the following error at step 2
Installing product G:\exchangeserver.msi failed. Fatal error during installation. Error code is 1603. Last error reported by the MSI package is 'The source installation package for the product Microsoft Exchange Server is out of sync with the client package. Try the installation again using a valid copy of the installation package 'EXCHANGESERVER.msi'.'.
