Remove incomplete exchange install

How do you remove an installation of exchange that is faulty. If i try to uninstall it the uninstaller says that the setup is incomplete. If i re-run the installer it re-installs but the uninstaller still says the same. Is there a way to fully remove exchange manually?

Its better to do a re-install of the box that you were trying to install Exchange on.

this is on an active domain controller and file server we cannot do a reinstall
Justin EvansCommented:
Microsoft recommend strongly that Exchange isn't installed on a Domain Controller and File Server and that its on a independent box.  As you have done this now what version of Exchange is the broken install ?
