it is Shortcut Virus. Download and run Panda Free Antivirus and scan your PC.

even deleting files as well?
No, it doesn't delete files, it only change the attribute of files and folders. Open a command prompt as admin, type X: where X is your flash drive letter.
Copy this command and paste it to command prompt:
Attrib -h -s -r *.*
Hit Enter.

After doing so, suggest you remove your drive and insert again. If you got all your files back then that’s good, but if you still got shortcut virus, then the shortcut virus will be inside your PC. Have another scan e.g. using  Malwarebytes Anti-Malware

Suggest some hygiene check

Check yout startup folder or in Run command, type msconfig. Uncheck unnecessary software.

Do disable autoplay and autostart. This is the most common mean malware will exploit to spread to the laptop/notebook

If you still cannot access your data saved on computers/laptops or other storage devices, try data recovery software e.g. EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard.

Also suggest you format the drive if you gotten back your files, just to make sure the drive is cleaned.
