Lenovo X250 does not see WIRELESS

I have a x250 which does not even see the WiFi in network connection (Cpanel) - I have already replaced the WiFi card in the laptop still the same. Any idea ?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Have you got a working driver for your operating system?  Cpanel suggests Linux. These units (I use Lenovo) generally have Intel N or possibly AC cards inside).

I should have mentioned. It's windows 7

Windows 7 does not use Cpanel to connect. You can use the Windows wireless tool or Access Connections to connect

Windows does not even show a wireless network

Did this machine come with Windows 7 or Windows 10. If the latter, you may not be able to install a working version of Windows 7 (Microsoft rule changes).

Rezwan SenobarianAuthor Commented:
The machine has always been windows 10. And all of sudden stopped working

As noted, drivers no longer support Windows 7.

Why not just stay with Windows 10?

If need be for an application or two, run Windows 7 in a virtual machine.

I’m using Azure. Funny enough Azure vpn has so many known issues with windows 10. I guess I’m going to use a usb wireless receiver

Thank you. I am not sure why Azure (Microsoft) VPN does not work but the wireless receiver is probably a good idea here
