Exchange 2010 - Custom folder for 800 users
Hi Experts,
I need to create a custom folder for 800 users who are out on the field all the time and dont have access to Outlook or OWA and so they cannot archive their emails and use only ActiveSync. So the custom folder will solve the purpose of storing their emails for long term and a retention policy will be applied to their Inbox and Sent Items which will delete all emails older than 60 days.
How do you suggest solving the creation of a custom folder for 800 users problem ? We are using Exchange 2010. I saw a script on technet but I wanted to check here as as well.

OK with that said. What do you want? Create a folder for all the users in their mailbox?
Do you have the list of the 800 in a csv?

Then you talk about emails and policies, there's no solution to that, I'm sorry.
The solution is to give them access to their accounts using ActiveSync (or outlook anywhere).
After that you can talk about emails, if they don't have access, there's nothing you can do to archive their emails.
You need to give them access even thru phone or tablet and then create a public folder for all of them.
