Need a pocket zoom camera

Need a pocket camera with maximum zoom capabilities.

And I need to buy it used on Ebay...

I love a small Canon camera that withdraws the lens 100% and is easy to fit in my pocket. I had one, but sold it to raise some money:

Now I have a job and want something similar.

What can you recommend on "Buy it Now" on Ebay which might even be better?

I was moderately happy with the camera, but wanted it to zoom even better. Is it possible I cold have adjusted the setting and got better close-ups?

Or is there a better technology that wold do better on close-ups?

I want pocket sized and do not want any camera that needs to go around my neck.

Thanks.

I want to buy used, to save money.  My budget is a used PowerShot SX620. But if I found some awesome zooming camera that fits in my pocket, I would spend more.

I have an iPhone 7, but am pretty sure my PowerShot SX620 could zoom better. Is that true? I do not know enough about resolution, etc, to say one way or the other.

Yes, I may re-purchase what I had. That's my backup plan, unless I find one that's better.

Is the Nikon better than the Canon?

> You may need a top end camera to beat that

Does the iPhone 7 take as good a resolution as the PowerShot SX620?  I do not know enough to answer that question.

I ask since it may be the high resolution means I did not need to zoom. And that I can edit and magnify the smaller part of the image which may be of interest to me.
