Smart Plug randomly stops communicating with network.
Smart Plug randomly stops communicating with network.
I have Smart Life Amysen Smart Plugs on 2.4 Ghz wifi network that stops responding to Alexa or the Smart Life app. They are running the most current firmware.
I live in an apartment in NYC with many broadcasting SSID's. My apartment is only 900 sq/ft with limited obstructions.
I do see the devices on my wifi even when they are not communicating. They are ranging from -50 to -70 db
My router does show this event:
WiFi Interface [wl1] set to Channel 149 (Side-Band Channel:N/A) - Reason:INTERFERENCE
I purchased the Smart Plugs from Amazon and not finding any support pages for this product.

Anyone experience something similar ?

Edit: I disabled the 5 Ghz SSID and I see a stable environment. The jury is still out, but things are looking better.
