I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You may try something like this...

Sub DeleteSheet()
On Error Resume Next
Application.DisplayAlerts = False
Sheets("Sheet2").Delete
On Error GoTo 0
End Sub

Open in new window

Please give this a try...

Sub DeleteSheet(shName As String)
On Error Resume Next
Application.DisplayAlerts = False
Sheets(shName).Delete
On Error GoTo 0
Sheets.Add(after:=Sheets(Sheets.Count)).Name = shName
End Sub

Open in new window

Then call this sub-routine within your main macro like this...
Sub YourMainMacro()
'The following line will call the macro DeleteSheet
'And if the Sheet2 exists, it will delete it and insert a new sheet with the same name
DeleteSheet "Sheet2"
'other stuff here
'
'
End Sub

Open in new window
