I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You can copy spreport.sql and modify it to not prompt for the snaps but you would need some queries to decide the start and end snap you want.  I guess it depends on how you define "daily report" since the snaps might span different times.

Once you get your script created you can schedule it to run from cron or whatever scheduler you have available.

is there a way to write a wrapper script to run statspack reports?  I have that for the awr reports but can only find a start time for statspack not an end time like awr has

The short answer is yes.  I cannot comment on "how" from personal experience since I've never done it.

There are several examples on the web that show ways to automate statspack reports.
