Access Documentation on Northwind database

I am trying to find documentation on how the Access Northwind database works. I am particularly interested in the inventory.
Any advice on where to find information would be appreciated.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I've never seen any and as far as the versions of Northwind that I have examined, the inventory doesn't work.  All the parts are not connected.

Which Northwind database?
It has undergone a several iterations since it was firs introduced...
...and a big change when the .accdb format was introduced.

But the Northwind database was never "strong" in the Inventory area.

If you need info on "Inventory" specifically, I suggest you have a look here, as a start:

Jeff,  have you downloaded any of those samples?

Thanks. I have decided to not go with Northwind but rather design a simplistic system
