Anyone experience problems with update KB940349 on windows server 2003

I need to install windows update KB940349 on windows server 2003 as acronis backup requires it to avoid snapshot issues.

Before i go ahead and install and risk having a server that won't come back.

Has anyone encountered any problems with KB940349 on windows server 2003 and did it require a restart?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Are you aware that you are requesting information about an Operating system that has more than 15 years old?.
Also, it's out of support showison, I'd propose an upgrade instead of update :)

I do not have anything that old to test on. The Microsoft article below says you need to be at SP1 or SP2 in order to install the update. It does not indicate that you have to restart the Server (but you should prepare yourself for that eventuality)
