VTL pendig occupation

Hi,

I have ProtectTIER for my backup/replication, in a site i have much nominal pendig (see attachment)


Is it possible to understand why?


Is there any action to be taken to improve the situation?

I see that  your hyperfactor seems to be 9.9:1 that should save you about 90% of space. However please note that the effectiveness of any data deduplication configuration depends upon a lot of variables,  including the data rate of data change, the number of backups, and the dataretention period.

I do not understand but has a pending so  high, there is no  way to lower it manually?

Are the volumes in the SHELF container part of the pending?

If I delete these volumes in SHELF, does the percentage of pending decrease?
