Cannot access HP SAN via CMC

I have an HP P4300 G2 SAN of which i'm trying to connect to via HP's CMC software. I can ping the iLo/managment port when connected back-to-back from my laptop, and have installed the CMC software from the original discs that came with the SAN, but cannot get any response in the CMC.

I can browse and login to the iLo but this doesn't give me the option to manage the datastores etc.

Does anyone have any idea's what i can do to solve this without wiping the SAN's data?

You can't use the CMC through iLO, you have to use one of the iSCSI IP addresses. Not sure whether your iLO gives remote video but you can connect a screen and keyboard to the node, type START to login locally to it and navigate to the network TCP/IP settings to get the iSCSI IP addresses.

what if my iscsi ports are bonded? can i just connect up to one of the iscsi ports and use the ip address listed under the bond?

HP recommend transmit load balancing for them and in that case you can just connect to one port so long as the other one is not plugged in, or if you're using a switch so your laptop connects to both ports then you can leave both connected.
