"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Have you looked into http://www.networkcraze.com/ ? Purchased many switches / routers from there.  Not brand new but guaranteed.

I've been purchasing a bunch of WS-C3650-48PS

They can dish out the right amount of PoE I need for some features of Cisco Meraki APs.

**EDIT**

They also came with Cisco IOS 15.2

Without knowing what is place in topology (e.g core, access) , purpose, feature requirements (e.g. SFPs and how many SFPs)  and future plans (e.g.  in future uplinks should be upgraded to 10Gb) it is really hard to tell (L2, L3, stacking, POE etc).

If you'll go to https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/switches/index.html and click on "Switch Selector", you can get a comprehensive list of switches with relevant specs.  There are MANY!

I just need a simple switch for RJ45 network cable connections to the client computers, server, and internet cable modem.

How much are you looking to spend?

I would check out the link I posted above for Network Craze .. if you need something simple, affordable, and reliable -- I'd buy from them. No this is not an endorsement -- just know from experience and purchasing hundreds of switches, phones, and parts.
