32 bit version of libstdc++.so.6 needed on Centos for legacy program

I need a 32 bit version of libstdc++.so.6 on my Centos 7 system to allow a program to run.
it expects /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6, and i have only the 64 bit version under /usr/lib64.

I've tried several rpms but I can't get it to work

Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi,

What makes you think you need a 32bit version?

You can use yum search to find versions. For instance when you issue
yum search compat-libstdc++

Open in new window

it should give you all compatible versions.

The ones with i686 are 64bit and the others are 32bit if any. You need to install one of those.
