I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Your question isn't clear.  Are you saying that you've moved a web site to a new IP address but your internal DNS server isn't recognizing the change?  If so, how long has it been since the change?

1. make sure you updated the correct file. if the web content is dynamically generated via a CMS, etc, make sure the source is updated.

2. if still got issue, try flush the dns and try again?

open a command prompt, and then type:

ipconfig /flushdns

Flush DNS

after that, try ping the domain and see if you got correct IP address being returned?
