Problem with displaying Outlook 2016 folders after new folder added.

I have a user who is having problems with outlook 2016. Everytime they add a new folder one of two things happen

1) There is a space appear underneath the new folder
2) The next two folders in the list appear on top of each other scrambling the folder names.

To fix it they have to restart outlook.
There is a folder in the space because they can click on the space and it goes to a folder but the name is not being displayed.
They are using the client as POP3.
I have attached image as example.

Try removing Favorite folders (above the Folder tree on the left side of Outlook).  Then just use the native folders.  Do they appear properly?

If not, do a repair of Office.   Control Panel, Programs and Features, click on Office, change / repair and choose Full Repair. When done, restart and test.

This could also be related to Graphics card drivers. Ensure their graphics card drivers are up to date. Also, is this Windows 7 or 10?

Addins can often cause strange behavior in Outlook too. Check what addins the user has active and disable all to see if the problem is cured. If so, then re-enable one at a time and retest to nail down the troublesome one.

Heres what I have done.

1) Removed favorites folders
2) Updated Drivers
3) Reinstalled Office
4) Removed Addons

I am still getting the same issues. I have attached image showing problem.

Thanks for the update.

Go to Control Panel, Mail and delete the Outlook Profile. This removes the Email Account(s) so you need to know how to set them up again.

Restart the computer and make a new Email Profile. Set it up and point the Email Account to the existing Mail File. Use the Manual Method, do NOT use the Wizard.

With Outlook 2016, you should make the new Email Account from the Control Panel, Mail window.

Havn't had any problems with it recently I am not totally sure but am leaning towards an addon causing the issue
