Cannot get Tabs and Commands Menu to display 'all the time' in Word (2013).

OS=Windows 10.
Microsoft Word 2013.

If I click on icon on right of  question mark ('?') on Word 2013  top menu the following option appears.

'Show Ribbon Tabs and Commands'

Underneath this heading in smaller print is the following:

'Show Ribbon Tabs and Commands all the time'

So I click on the option hoping to have Tabs and Commands display all the time. But I find that this does not happen. Within a short time the tabls and commands ribbon disappears. This happens every time I restore it.

What must I do to really get  the Tabls and Commands to display ALL THE TIME.

I wnet to the registry as LVL24 suggested. I adjusted the readings as advised. It seems to have worked. Give me a day or two before I spend more time with the program. But as of now it looks good. So thanking you in anticipation. By the way I had repaired Word 2013 (ran the 'repair' option) about a week ago to correct a quite different problem (which it fixed - e.g. page numbers of documents had disappeared from  task bar of Word. All going well will close this in two days.
