Cannot update SQL Server 2008 R2 version

Trying to update our SQLTEST server to match our SQL Production server version.  Screen shots below.  I have tried several updates, service patches and they have not worked.

This is very urgent, we cannot progress with the upgrade we are working on until we can restore the bak file from Production SQL to SQL TEST

They are both Standard SQL Server 2008 R2 but different versions.

Thanks

I can restore the SQL Production backup to SQLTEST but when I try to import the org using CRM 2011 deployment manager I get the following error:

Setup failed to validate specified Reporting Services Report Server http://sqltest/ReportServer. Error: Error occurred while finding an item on the report server.
The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized.

Vitor,

Installing the last service pack (SQL Server 2008R2 SP3) on both servers is not an option on the Production SQL Server.  There are third party apps that would break.

Do you have another suggestion to get these servers on the same service pack?

Thanks
There are third party apps that would break.
Uh? Do you want to explain this? Why a SQL Server service pack would break a 3rd party app? Is the app checking for the SQL Server service packs?

I suggested using the latest service pack to the sys admin and that was what he told me.  I took this upgrade over from some one that left, so I am somewhat unfamiliar what they are doing.

Today I talked to the project manager and suggested we follow your suggestion, so maybe I will close out this ticket.

I have another ticket open concerning SSRS if you want to take a look at that.

Thanks for following up.
Good. Service Packs shouldn't affect how applications are working with databases.
About the SSRS, isn't my expertise.
Cheers
