Does it through the same error when you backup to network or to any other drive?

Is the drive encrypted somehow?

I am backing up to an external drive and no encryption, I think I found out it was happening because host and vm both were running backups at same time I have rescheduled it for different times it seems worked.

Normally you do not need to backup the host so frequently as the vms.

Problems using Powershell and Active Directory?

Managing Active Directory does not always have to be complicated.  If you are spending more time trying instead of doing, then it's time to look at something else. For nearly 20 years, AD admins around the world have used one tool for day-to-day AD management: Hyena. Discover why

Hmm that's good idea I think I would run host backup weekly.

The idea is that installing Hyper-V host is not a big deal and can be done within 20 minutes. However the VMs are really important. Thus it is recommended to take backups on daily basis from VMs and ones or 2 times per month the host.
Same is with Exchange server for example.

Thanks Noxcho it helped my situation I have turned off host backup every night and will do the backup manually as windows backup schedule is not so flexible.
