I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Well, you can do it without installing an audio editor, but since this is an unusual audio format it means going round Robin Hood's barn to do it.

Go out on the internet and convert the AAC to WAV.

Then edit the file using good old Windows Sound Recorder.

Then back out to the internet and convert the WAV back to AAC.  Or MP3, as you prefer.

Nothing native to Windows 10 as shipped, but there are some decent free tools that you could use, like:

they support multiple audio files extensions. just upload the file, select time to start and time to finish and thats it!
