I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

USB mouse and keyboard, or PS/2 mouse and keyboard?

Note:  If the keyboard and mouse is wireless, the problem is probably due to the driver not being present.  In that case you'll need to install with standard keyboard and mouse, then load the wireless keyboard and mouse driver after Windows has been installed.

USB keyboard and mouse?  Check BIOS settings for USB and switch to Legacy mode.
