Restrict RDP user to published app

Should be a simple one but google isn't my friend on this one...

How do I limit a user to connect only to published apps on an RDS 202R2 server (in effet disallowing access to the full virtual desktop) ?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

As I know, there is only one way:
In group policy
User Configuration>Policies>Administrative Templates>Windows Components > Remote Desktop Services > Remote Desktop Session Host > Remote Session Environment > "Start a program on connection"
insert there logoff.exe
Or add it to user's properties:
