How to Hard restart a MacBook Pro?

Hard Restart on a MacBook Pro with no Power Button??

I just got a new Mac and it has no power button! So Far, I have only Restarted It.

I had the machine lock up on me and wondered, before it magically unlocked, what the heck I can do to Hard Restart it?

Secondly, once I shut it down gracefuly, how do I restart it?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If you shut it down from the shut down menu, there is a start button next to the touch bar.

I recall seeing one of my family members do this.

Ok, what about when I need to Hard Restart it and the machine's frozen?

What I do with a power button is hold it down until it restarts or else turns off, normally about 10 seconds or so. I have not tried this on a MAC but it should work.

But that button is not displaying itself as a power button, except when the machine is off. I just tested it and it does click when I touch it. I need to hear from a Mac User that this will hard restart it, in the event it freezes. I do not want to test it, but I want to be able to restart it in a crisis.
