Wordpress URL pathname standard wrong

Yesterday I migrated my Wordpress installation to another system using Updraft. The migration went fine but I am finding that the URL pathnames seem to be out of order with one another.

For example

My old system had the URL of http://hostname.domain.local to access

The new system has the URL of http://hostname.domain.local/wp-admin to access

How can I resolve this so the new URL matches the old URL standard?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
