Internal fault indicator light

I had also the same problem facing the same picture but on Smart ups SURT 8000/10000 VA. indicating Internal UPS fault, the UPS age was more than 5 years, I already replace the battery, but seems the same indicator light. Can anyone advice for any solution?

The user manual for the RT series says for this situation:

"DO NOT attempt to use the UPS.  Turn the UPS off and have it serviced immediately."

So it's a serious problem, quite serious from the sound of the manual, it's not just the battery, and you should do what the manual says -- disconnect the UPS, call the local APC service rep, and have them come out and fix it.  Or purchase a replacement, whichever is cheaper.

Either way when you're through you have a nice new battery and it should last a long time in service.
