Malware protection of exchange server or Symantec Mail Security

Hello,

I have Exchange server 2013.

I have setup a spam filtering as 3rd product and i have a 2nd layer of protection in Exchange Server the Symantec Mail Security.

My question is can i enable the built in malware protection of Exchange Server 2013 as 2nd layer of protection and take place instead of Symantec Mail Security?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

well you can use the inbuilt malware protection of exchange 2013, but it sometimes creates havoc to troubleshoot the mail flow  issues, like user says that havent recieved the email , mail not delivered, so would recommend to not to use this feature.
