There are a number of settings to ensure you can map a folder on another machine. Please review the steps in my article below.

Another way (could be simpler for you) is to put the folder on a USB Hard Drive (or USB Key if small enough) and transfer it that way.

removing a user and adding it again makes it a different user. The user is identified by a security ID (S-1-....) and the name is just a label attached to that id.  So removing a user is a permanent measure. You probably have to reassign all rights to the "new" account.
What operating system is the machine with the folder? As noci mentions, you will likely need to update the permissions of the folder using the administrator account. This link shows you how to do that for a windows 10 machine.

Dear Anthony Garcia

Already I removed all users from there except administrator and the owner is administrator but still cannot
lookup Take Ownership in the file properties / security popup.
After you took ownership, try again.
Dear all

I tried all your advice, but still the issue!
Any other solution

Try making a new Windows Account, make it a member of the Administrator's Group.

Log into the new Windows Account and try taking ownership of the files from the new account.
