I realise the question has been closed but just to answer your last point, the screen grab below may help you and other readers. This just scratches at the surface as creating high quality, fool-proof templates is an art in its own right. There is also an excellent book on the subject of <a href="https://www.amazon.com/Building-PowerPoint-Templates-Step-Experts/dp/0789749556" rel="ugc">Building PowerPoint Templates</a> by two Microsoft MVPs, Echo and Julie.<br />
