Transferring SIM cards from a mobile phone
I have a mobile phone which is a LG Optimus L70 (LGMS323) and the carrier is Ultra Mobile. I have now a gifted Apple iPhone5. My question is if I can transfer the SIM card from the LG to my apple iPhone5, and the phone number will function as the old LG. Thank u and regards
The answer to your question is - Yes. The telephone number is linked to the SIM and not to a specific phone.
There are three versions of iPhone 5.
GSM model (A1428):
Dual-band LTE (Bands 4, 17: 1700 (AWS), 700b MHz).
GSM model (A1429):
Tri-band LTE (Bands 1, 3, 5: 2100, 1800, 850 MHz).
CDMA model (A1429):
Tri-band 2G CDMA (800 (CDMA over ESMR), 850, 1900 MHz).
Dual-band 3G CDMA/EV-DO Rev. A and Rev. B (850, 1900 MHz).
Penta-band LTE (Bands 1, 3, 5, 13, 25: 2100, 1800, 850, 700c, 1900 MHz).
Have a look if the rear side of your iPhone 5 and post back the version no.
