SSO for sharepoint online?

Hi

We have deployed SSO with password sync using adconnect to azure.  The plan was to leverage share point for our intranet and no doubt grow on that.  We have managed to get the SSO to work fine for the two urls specified my MS (tenant and domain) and the machines/users logon automatically, which we like.  However we are unable to achieve this with SharePoint.

Is this possible?
Can we cusomise the my apps screen - see attached?

We only have EO plan 1 licences not o365 or sharepoint.

Cheers

Same principle of accessing 365 no??
Same principle, different method that is more reliable and secure. There are significant advantages to this as well.

One thing I should also mention, you *can* get SharePoint to sign in automatically with Password Sync by adding the SharePoint online domains to the intranet zone in IE and configuring that zone to automatically sign in with the current username and password. You would probably still need to do this with Pass-through, but I haven't tested yet (theoretically, you shouldn't have to, but theories aren't reality).

Until you lose internet connection i've read...

Ok how to do this bit: and configuring that zone to automatically sign in with the current username and password.
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc961173.aspx covers how to set zone security. You would set the User Authentication - Logon setting to Automatic in the Internet Options Zone settings for the Intranet Zone (This is how it is set by default, but if it's been modified you will need to set it correctly).

And yes, Connectivity loss will break that Authentication. Realistically, though, if your Internet goes out at all these days, you probably need to beat your ISP. There are also a lot of environments that utilize backup LTE connections to keep things running.
