SSRS Subscription Error

I have created an SSRS report and deployed it to the SQL report Server location.  I want to set this report up so it executes at a certain time and creates a pdf in a network folder. However when I click subscribe I get the error "Subscriptions cannot be created because the credentials used to run the report are not stored, or if linked report, the link is no longer valid." In the  credentials section of the data source of the report I am using Windows Authentication. The only way the report will execute is with Windows Authentication . I have one other report that is set up this way successfully. That report is using a different SQL database. One set up by our ERP providers. The credential setting on that report is do not use credentials. Admittedly my understanding of the security portion of SQL is weak. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

for the data source you have used for this report may ne embedded or shared. you have to provide credentials hard coded for the connection.
it will resolve your issue.
StampITAuthor Commented:
So instead of an embedded connection I need to select "Use shared data source reference" ?
Arifhusen AnsariBusiness Intelligence Developer and AnalystCommented:
no.
what ever data source you are using. you need to provide credentials for that connection.

OK. Where am I to put these credentials ? Sorry for the confusion but I just do not know this stuff. Thanks.
Arifhusen AnsariBusiness Intelligence Developer and AnalystCommented:
go to data source path where you have deployed your report.

click on data source and click on manage data source and add credentials there
StampITAuthor Commented:
OK. Found where to enter credentials. Currently it is set as a custom data source. Data source type is Microsoft SQL Server and the connection string is "DataSource=DBQServer;InitialCatalog=DS_Potential. Test Connection is successful.

Under Connect using: Assuming I need to select the option "Credentials stored securely in the report server" ? I do not know what to enter here. I have tried using the credentials that I used to login to the server and a few others but I cannot connect.

Thanks

I do not know what user name and password to put in here. The report is using Windows Authentication. I assume that is  the user name and password  I used to login to the server. I have tried this and it does not work. Is there a way to determine what the user name and password are ?? Or do I need to change how the report is connecting to the data source ? Thanks.
Arifhusen AnsariBusiness Intelligence Developer and AnalystCommented:
you can use your user name and password.if it has access
