Switch Recomendations

i am looking at purchasing  new gigabyte switches. I am at a cross road since we were always a Cisco shop. Can someone give me some pro's and cons on the following switches to be used in a small business environment

WS-C3650-48PD-L      Cisco Catalyst 3650 48 Port PoE 2x10G Uplink LAN Base

12157676 Aruba 2930F 48G 4SFP+ - Switch - L3 - managed - 48
10/100/1000 + 4 x 1 Gigabit / 10 Gigabit SFP+ (uplink) -
rack-mountable

At the moment we are using

Cisco WS-3560G Catalyst

The auditors we on me about replacing  them since they are no longer being supported by Cisco

I would actually recommend the 2960x series of switches. They are cheaper, they can stack, support both POE and POE+. You can get them with either 4 1gig sfps or 2 10gig sfps and they come with light layer 3. So unless you need to use routing only ports (which is unlikely) I would recommend these.

Dear syarmush,

The cisco device is EOL: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/switches/catalyst-3560-x-series-switches/eos-eol-notice-c51-736139.html so it not supportted, but it gives more possibility for finetuning and detecting or debugging problems. Aruba 2930F is good choice, it is much more cheaper than same cisco equipment, so it is more the enough for small business environment.

Best regards,
Istvan
