Can not ping management interface in WLC 4402

Hi management interface 11.11.12 in WLC 4402 cannot be pinged from switch3560. The WLC distribute port is connected to the switch via its G0/1 trunk. the vlan 11 ip address is 11.11.11.11 Do I miss something in its configuration?

Hello Eemoon,

It could be a number of things but based on the output you have provided, it appears that your management interface is in vlan 10. I would suggest changing the management interface to vlan 11 or make sure the switch has a def gateway assigned. Also, as I do not know your network, please consider what will be affected when making those changes.

Are you sourcing your pings from vlan 11 when pinging from the switch? You can also use tracerout to see where pings are failing.

Thank you so much for your fast reply. You are right. I removed all other vlan and make it simple and clear. It can work out. sometimes simple issue can also take a lot time : )
