GPO Logon Banner Formatting

I have created a logon banner for our domain in GPO “Interactive logon”

I’ve created a script which reads similar to:

Welcome to XYD

Please don’t abuse etc

But when the user logs in there is no blank line.

I’m using server 2012 GPO I’ve heard to use “ “ or , “ “ , etc but nothing gives me a blank line ?

Any help would be great

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

To get it to keep the line breaks you need to do it directly in Registry with something like VBS' vbcrlf (then apply to other computers using GPO registry preference)
or directly in GptTmpl.inf
