Suggestions for a offline email client

Any suggestions for an offline email reader client? I tried Postbox (a paid for product), and it does not function properly for offline email reading as it is a very buggy product. It works as expected for online email, but nothing good to say about offline. Thank you in advance.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

What about Outlook in cached offline mode. That will work.

We don't have outlook client available to us. I believe it is only part of pre-Office 365 versions of Office. While that was my first choice, I cannot find a free client download on Microsoft's websites. They only appear to offer the cloud Office 365 option.

I tried Opera, but that doesn't appear to have offline functionality. Thunderbird may be the best option, but I have not yet had the time to test it. Thanks for your feedback.

If you have Office 365, then the Office suite should include an Outlook Client.   Have you asked Microsoft Licensing support?

I will check once I return to the office when I have access to the license keys. Thanks, that may be the best solution.

I still will investigate 3rd party options to see if they are more convenient. I know there are several free products out there. However, this is the best solution. Thanks.
