Simple SSRS report

SSRS Report

I have written a query to pull a basic "Item File" report from my companies master database.  10 columns, 65k rows.

Instead of just creating an Agent job-->export to CSV, I would like to post the results of my query on our SSRS server to view with parameter Drop-downs to filter on 3 or 4 or the fields.

Could someone give me basic instructions of how to do this?  Since it is just 1 report, I believe the data source should be embedded.  We have a report server with SSRS services running.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

1) Create stored procedure for the same. This stored procedure will have parameters, what ever filter you want to have in Reports.
2) One you are done with your stored procedure parameter decision. You can write procedure logic. Compile your stored procedure and try to give a successful run by passing parameter in stored procesure.
3) Once you are done and satisfied with your procedure result.
4) Create report in ssdt, create appropriate parameter in report.
