Looking for an editable grid.

What grid control can you recommend so that the cells can be editable just like excel? Also upon leaving a selected row, it saves the changes.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Telerik grid is probably the best around. Also have a look at https://www.telerik.com/blogs/create-excel-asp-net-grid

I have used both Telerik and DevExpress and I have to say that both are really fantastic control sets to use. I know that DevExpress actually has an ASP.NET Spreadsheet control. They describe this as:
Excel inspired UI
Read/Write XLSx, XLS, CSV and TXT Files
Lastly, if the pricing of DevExpress is a bit steep (and to be honest, Telerik and DevExpress are not cheap. But they are excellent products.) then you can consider trying ReoGrid which (from the looks of it) is free.
They describe this as:
Fast / Powerful / Free / Open Source

High compatibility with Excel 2007 format
Working with .NET, .NET client profile, WPF, Android
If cost is not a problem (i.e. you are recommending this for your company), I would definitely consider Telerik and DevExpress. I am all for supporting Open Source software, but it all boils down to how good the support is. I can definitely say that Telerik and DevExpress have excellent support structures in place.
