Is there a difference between the Office 2016 desktop applications that are provided as part of Office 365 Home and Office 365 Business premium.

ie.  is there any different features or functionality in Excel, Word or Outlook.

i know that the Enterprise versions give you Office Pro Plus, but for home and business is there a differenc

The functionality of Office 2016 core applications ( Word / Excel / Powerpoint ) is identical among all packages of office 2016.

The available software packages are exactly the same in function across the various subscriptions but the Business packages also include additional services; exchange, sharepoint etc dependent on subscription chosen.
