How to disable Windows 10 Mail, or turn off it's notifications

Hi Experts,

Recently I used Windows 10 Mail for a few days, using 6 mail accounts.
Now I'm using Outlook 2016 and want to stick with it.

My problem is that for every incoming email I get 2 notifications. I assume one notification is from each client.

What's the best way to disable Windows 10 Mail, or at the very least to turn off it's notifications?

Regards,
Leigh

I'd suggest just going into Control Panel / Programs and Features and uninstall Windows Mail. You'll no longer need it if you're using Outlook for everything.

If you want to keep it installed, then I'd agree with John. Simply delete all the accounts.

Hope that's helpful.

Regards, Andrew
So long as it has no accounts there is no need to uninstall. You can if you wish, of course
