Highlight colums in different Excel sheets

Hi,

I have two excel 2016 sheets both in the same workbook. I want to highlight the values in column A that are in sheet1 that are not in Column A that are in sheet2. I am just looking for the exact formula! not tutorials or links  :  ) thanks!

Select whole Column A on Sheet1 and make a new rule for conditional formatting using the formula given below and set the format as per your choice.

=COUNTIF(Sheet2!$A:$A,A1)=0
