I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

HI,

Maybe
({Individuals.LastName} IN ( [ "ross" ] ) and
{Letters.LtrName} IN ( [ "first test" ] )) or
({Individuals.LastName} IN ( [ "johnson" ] ) and
{Letters.LtrName} IN ( [ "first test" ] ))

@Rgonzo1971; That formula only results in the record for Ross. It does not display the johnson record.

{Individuals.LastName} IN  [ "ross" , "Johnson" ]  AND
{Letters.LtrName} IN  [ "first test" ]

Is the database case sensitive?

Are you sure there are records with Johnson?

Mark01Author Commented:
I don't know if the database is case sensitive; its an Access database. Yes, I verified that there is at least one record with Johnson. The report pulls data from five tables in three databases. The attached screenshots shows the five tables and the report design. I've tested several Crystal reports and there were no errors.

Note that the Businesses table is located in a third, private database. Also note that the fields in the suppressed headers are used for Visual Cut bursting.

Both of the formulas worked. I found the error. There was no record for Johnson in the Ltr_Indiv_Link table. Thank you, mlmcc and Rgonzo1971.
