Adobe acrobat pdf’s printing every other page reversed

Images and test print backwards or not at all like upside down and weird font

Happens every other page
Occurs with HP Laserjet M402n

Remove the printer and remove the driver (Printer Server Properties. Uninstall Adobe.

Now restart the computer, install the Printer and check for proper operation, install Adobe, patch and now test.

That should fix it, but if you still have issues, make a new, test Windows User Profile (Account), log into the new account and test Adobe printing.

I assume this is a shared printer. In that case you can do one of two things:
  1. Make that setting on the sharing PC (server) from Printing Defaults (under Printer Properties > Advanced)
  2. If you are unable to change it yourself at print time, your administrator needs to change your permissions, so you can change printer settings

Another possibility. If the printer does not have a duplexer installed, you need to tell the driver it is not installed. This can be done under one of the tabs in Printer Properties. Again, if this is a shared printer you need to do it on the server.

Print Driver Image
Likely a bit hard to see but I had to go to the finishing tab on the driver to deselect the print on both sides of the paper check box.
From there it was fine from then on. Something with the print driver (base driver) had this set by default.

I had already reinstalled the print driver from scratch. The first time the printer installation failed. With USB printing this can happen a lot.

From there, once I got the print driver installed it was a matter of going in and deselecting print on both sides of the paper in the driver properties window. Good to go now.
