Emails stuck in Outlook OUTBOX folder.


I have a Office 365 user when she opens up Outlook, she see a lot of emails in her Outbox.

She is able to send and receive emails.  her computer is a desktop and I do not see any network connection issue.

Any idea of what else I should check?

when emails are stuck in the outbox, this is normally the result of outlook being in cache mode. the email is still generally sent successfully but the out box didn't clear. I would confirm the email was sent and the recreate the user outlook profile because it may be corrupt. this is one of the downsides in outlook when in cache mode

Check OWA and see if her email is sitting in the outbox there.

Authentication might be an issue here.
Reboot the computer and retype the password to her Outlook account.

Otherwise recreate the Outlook profile.
