Microsoft OneDrive installed on Server 2012 and used for sharing files to others
I have a client who is using their Windows 2012 (not R2) Server with no problems. It is a construction firm with engineers who need access to certain folders on a shared volume. They would like to use OneDrive so all of their engineers can get access to those folders. At present they are connecting via VPN but it is being slow and overwhelmed.
Is it possible to setup OneDrive so that it synchronizes only certain folders from the server to OneDrive which the outside parties can access via OneDrive and make any changes additions and of course once it is saved, it goes back to the server.
At present it appears whenever you put files in OneDrive it changes the location to the default location in the users directory. We do not want to do Work Folders on 2012r2 but want to utilize OneDrive
