enter a cell reference for a table name in a formula

Dear Experts:

I am using a structured reference for a sum that involves an Excel Table named 'Aspiration_Set'

=SUM(Aspiration_Set[[UNIT COST ]]). The formula works fine.

If I try to change this formula to enter a cell reference instead of the table name, it throws an error message.
Formula: =Sum(E3&[[UNIT COST]]). The cell E3 contains the name of the table, i.e. 'Aspiration_Set'

I am pretty sure Excel cannot handle a cell reference for a table name, am I right?

Help is much appreciated. Thank you very much in advance.

Regards, Andreas

UNIT COST has a space at the end

and no ) after ]
then try if you don't want to correct the title
=SUM(INDIRECT(A2&"[UNIT COST ]"))
