Google drive going away when? May or Mar 12, 2018
What is the definitive date for Google Drive “going away”?
I’ve seen March 12, 2018 in online blogs but May 12, 2018 from Google itself, https://support.google.com/a/answer/2490101?hl=en
I’m inclined to believe Google but wonder why the bloggers / online journalists (including CNET) were reporting March as recently as December. Have the reporters issued update reports on this? Maybe I’ve missed them.
I would appreciate any corroboration stories from the media as the clients I serve would like to see a news story on this as well as some Google statement buried on a support page.

The only place I've see the May date is in the article cited in the problem statement, and with less than two weeks left I would not rely on it ... particularly not when Google has not seen fit to make a public announcement that "No! The date is May, not March!"
