Filename in File Dialog appears cut off - incorrect justification

I am using the Microsoft File Dialog, my filtering works perfectly.  However, the full filename path I pass in as the argument using the .InitialView parameter appears to be cut off on the left side.

If I press the <Home> key, though, to go to the left in the Filename field the whole filename is actually there.  (My full filename is "D:\Fcabinet\Insurance\Health Insurance\2018 EOB\eob 8051505U2140X*.pdf")

How can I get the filename to display correctly when the dialog box first opens?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Seems to be a small bug in the FilePicker, I tried a few things but could not find a way to prevent it.  Also Googled a bit, but haven't turned up a reference to it there yet...

I fear you may be stuck with that behavior :-(.

That's what I thought; I had Googled some as well.  Thanks for checking; I appreciate your time.
